When people land and leave

A site that gets you called.

Getting found is half of it. The visit is the other half, and it is where most local business sites quietly lose the job: the phone number is three taps down, the page never says which suburbs you cover, and the form goes to an address nobody opens.

A website has one job. The next call.

02 / 04  ·  What gets built

What gets built

Built to be called.

Fast, plain, and pointed at one action. Nothing on the page that is not earning its place.

01

Loads before they give up

Built as plain pages rather than a stack of plugins, because the visit happens on a phone on mobile data. The site in the anonymised worked example on our home page loads in 1.9 seconds. That is the bar, and plenty of sites are nowhere near it.

02

Says it in the first screen

What you do, which suburbs you do it in, and how to reach you. All visible before anyone scrolls. Underneath it, the proof a stranger needs: photographs of your own work, reviews with names on them, and how long you have been trading.

03

Every page ends in a call

A phone number that dials on a tap. A form short enough that someone standing in a driveway will finish it. And the enquiry landing where a person will actually see it, rather than in an inbox opened once a fortnight.

The search work is built in. Pages get written so Google can file them from the first day, not fixed a year later once nothing has ranked.
You own the site. The domain, the hosting, the code and every login are all in your name.

03 / 04  ·  Whether it fits

Whether this is you

When the site is the problem.

This suits a business whose site is old, slow, or was built by someone who has stopped answering emails. It suits you just as much if the site looks perfectly smart and was simply never built to take an enquiry. That is the more common version, and the more expensive one.

It suits you less if your site is already quick and already turns visits into calls. Then the money belongs in being found instead, and the audit will say so rather than sell you a rebuild you do not need.

There are four kinds of work in total, and a new site is only the right one when the visit is where the job is being lost.

A site gets built once and then has to keep earning, which is why the search around it matters as much in Melbourne as in Brisbane. What a build costs depends on how much of the current site survives the audit.

Where to start

Start with the audit.

Give us your web address. We check every page the way Google does: whether the certificate is valid, whether it loads on a phone, whether Google has filed it at all. Then we tell you in plain words which of it is worth keeping.

We take on a small number of businesses at a time, and only when we are confident we can move the numbers. If we can take it on, you get a written plan: what we’d rebuild and in what order. If we can’t, you get a short, straight email saying so.

Free. A person reads it and answers within a couple of days.
