Notes

Nothing here yet.

No posts, and none written to fill the space. Publishing thin articles to look busy is the first habit we ask a client to drop. Those pages don’t rank, nobody finishes reading them, and Google has got very good at telling the difference.

So this page stays empty until there is something worth ten minutes of your day.

02 / 02  ·  What will be here

When it starts

Three kinds of post.

Each one comes out of work already in front of us, written up afterwards rather than planned as an article. That is the whole reason to read it.

01

What the checks turn up

Anonymised readouts from deep audits, and the sort of thing that keeps appearing: an expired certificate, pages Google never filed, a phone number that differs from page to page. What each one costs a business, in plain words.

02

What actually changed

Google’s AI answers and ChatGPT now decide who gets rung. What that means for a business with a handful of staff and nobody doing marketing, written so you can act on it yourself if you’d rather.

03

Whether AI names you

The same question sits in every audit: who should I call for this trade, in this city? Asked across a lot of trades and a lot of cities, with the answers published as they come back.

Nothing goes up to hit a keyword. A post exists because someone asked the question twice, not because a tool said the term had volume.
Every claim carries a number, a name or a mechanism. The same rule the rest of this site is held to.
No dates promised. There is no publishing schedule to miss.

Until the first one lands, the useful thing on this site is a reading of your own. Ask, and a person goes through it properly and writes back within a couple of days: a written plan of what we’d fix if the work can be taken on, a short straight email if it can’t.

Free. More use than anything we could write here.
